Arthur Ness and the Secret of Waterwhistle Part 2 (Book)
"Well, I hate to admit it," said the Cat, "but everything's completely out of control. The Queen is on the verge of victory. Her loyal agent, Lady Eris, is poised to finally activate the Agency Engine and ensure the Queen's domination.
"And me? I'm locked up in Lady Eris' dungeons thanks to the treachery of a cranky, old pirate captain.
"The only person who can turn this around - ten-year-old Arthur Ness - is trapped in a nowhere prison that it's impossible to escape from.
"Well, Arthur, old boy, I assume you've never done anything impossible before."
"Time to start."
The gripping conclusion to the first Arthur Ness adventure. After the trials and adventures Arthur and Teresa fought through, they felt like they were finally getting ahead of Lady Eris. With the help of the Cat, the powerful knights, Iakob and Iosef as well as the crochety, old pirate captain Chadwell Thrace, the pair had discovered that the plans of Lady Eris and her mistress, The Queen, revolved around a device known as the Agency Engine. If they could uncover it's mysteries and somehow destroy it, Waterwhistle, Arilon and probably the entire Human World would be saved.
But then Arthur lost his nerve and everything went wrong.
Captain Thrace showed his true, pirate colours and Teresa, the Cat, Iakob and Iosef were captured by Lady Eris. And Arthur? Nobody knows where Eris has put Arthur or how to get him back. According to the seer, Bamboo, Arthur is the one who holds the key to defeating Lady Eris and stopping the Agency Engine. So, as the Cat might say, "You can see the pickle we find ourselves in."
This is the conclusion to the first Arthur Ness adventure and what an explosive story awaits..! By the end of the entire saga, the mystery of the Queen will have been fully revealed but even in 'The Secret of Waterwhistle', you should keep an eye out for clues that are already beginning to surface...
